Nothing to undo.

When I’m rushing (which is often), and I clumsily press too many multi-touch keys too quickly (again, often)… my iPhone gives me that gorgeous message above.

NOTHING TO UNDO

Talk about glorious.  My shoulders drop.  I feel a moment of Deep Ease.  It relaxes my soul to think that I have nothing to undo. Living with no regrets.  No hankerings for the addictive reverse-arrow button.  C’mon… admit it… haven’t you — at least once — wished for An Undo Button… when you weren’t even in front of a computer?   You know, this one:

But now, imagine your life… with Nothing to Undo.

D’you think that’s possible?  To live your life with nothing to undo?

This post really made me smile :) I do admit to having a certain thing that at times I REALLY wish I could “undo”, but then I wouldn’t have my precious sons in my life and I quickly change my mind ;). Thank you for constantly providing food for my soul, dear Erika!

It’s nice to know that someone else (in this case a phone) aggrees with you that there is nothing to undo. None the less it’s best that you know it by yourself. Very funny and true message. Thanks Erika.

    Regards,

    Peter

[…] Last night I went to my first Intro to Standup Comedy class. The teacher talked about standup as a way to let people see into your head the way you do. Immediately the pressure was off, I could stand up and deliver without holding back. It was the most delicious devouring of life. And, that’s what I wish for myself, to enjoy this world so completely that I’m filled to capacity and can let go with ease and grace when I pass from this world. To be complete and yet even as I say that I know that’s it’s all perfect just the way it is right now. This one has me speechless. I have much to learn about this one. BIG TRIGGER! I would undo in a heartbeat but what if it made things WORSE? I am such a chicken. Regret is an impedance to greater happiness. It smothers like a lung full of water.

I just have to add, ever since this post, whenever that message pops up on my phone I just smile and remember your fabulous words. What you have to say Erika goes truly beyond the moment and continues to reverberate like ripples in a pond.
