I love this, Erika! Keep these observations coming. Can use all the help I can get!

  2. Carolee Says:

As I said on Twitter, this is a great video! Can’t wait to see lots more from you!

Also, as a rather random comment, I was really drawn to the horse statue behind you. My beau and I joke that I’m a unicorn, due to being an empathic HSP. It’s very sweet of him and it’s his way of reminding me that I’m special and rare and, therefore, have different needs. I’ve been searching for a great unicorn statue to put in our room that will cause both of us to smile, so seeing your horse seemed like synchronicity!

    • Erika Harris Says:

Carolee, I’m grateful for your feedback on Twitter and here. Mmm, a double-scoop :-)

Kudos to your beau. A man (or anyone, for that matter), who can cherish the specialness and rarity of another person is *a keeper*. I found this description of unicorn on Wikipedia: “The unicorn is the only fabulous beast that does not seem to have been conceived out of human fears. In even the earliest references he is fierce yet good, selfless yet solitary, but always mysteriously beautiful.”

And he calls you that? Just beautiful. Good luck on your statue-search!

Wow. I am soooo glad I saw this this morning. I just realized a few weeks ago that I am an Empath. And I’m learning and searching out ways to use this gift to propel myself forward.

I related to so much of what you said in this episode. I am currently trying to birth this vision of mine and don’t want to let fear stop my from doing something that I know is going to be impactful.

So I cannot wait for the next episode. Thank you for this!

    • Erika Harris Says:

Hi Alisha :-) I see you’re up to something new. It’s going to be amazing… even to you! Let It carry you, rather than you carry It. (Yes, your New Thing just asked me to tell you that.) Replace perfectionism with play. And fear with fun. The former cancels (or at least neutralizes) the latter. Like a clown and a soldier. Oooh, inspiration just hit. Gotta go run after Her :-)

      You do the same!

  4. Nathan Hangen - Digital Emperor Says:

Evolutionary Leader…I LOVE that…burning out of you…even better. I love your passion and the ability that you have to display it clearly and with focus. Keep dominating.

    • Erika Harris Says:

Nathan, you are so real. I remember your most recent podcast where you talked about helping cream rise… about giving a lesser-known talent a lil’ boost. And then one day later, you were doing just that.

See? That’s the kind of evolutionary leadership I’m talking about!

Great to wave the banner with you ;-)

  5. Lynnette Says:

    Good Morning Goddess!

Thanks for reminding the world that the Empathic Revolution cometh! Indeed the time is drawing extremely near and I sincerely believe that the new operating system will consist of love, compassion, empathy, integrity, collaboration, creativity, vision, intuition, out of the box thinking, & stewardship to say the least ~ Namaste

    • Erika Harris Says:

Oh, Lynnette, your description of The New Operating System takes my breath away. Yes, that is precisely what we are ushering in… bringin’ Heaven to Earth, baby!

  6. Nancy Grayson Says:

Twice I listened so the frequency of your message would imprint itself. Wishing us the courage to be unreasonable struck a cord in me. I am in a very negative office environment. When the office bullies were disrespectful to me, I remained calm thinking it would stop, but they continued to treat me badly. So I decided to be “unreasonable” and people started treating me differently. They seemed to realize that the game had changed. The unreasonable Nancy doesnt put up with their overtly disrespectful behavior. I keep my heart open with understanding and forgiveness but the “unreasonable” Nancy stands her ground energetically. I dont turn the other cheek and leave the room. It is a subtle posture and energy much like when a snake rattles its tail. The snake doesnt dislike you and certainly isnt angry with you, it is simply warning you that what you are doing is not acceptable. Further action WILL BE TAKEN if you do not take heed! If you have ever come upon a creature like a rattlesnake you take heed and step away without taking it personally. I then applied it to my relationships outside the office. Everyone seems to be quite surprised but it is a good thing that would take a lot more space to explain. That is my contribution to the empathic revolution. Excellent video! Blessings and appreciation from one of your crew.

    • Erika Harris Says:

Ssssssssssssss!!! Nancy, I LOVE your shamanic/serpentine wisdom. What a creative, and effective, way to use snake energy. I understand the distinction you speak of, and I use it for empathic empowerment, too. Sometimes fairy dust and rainbows just won’t cut it. Sometimes only Fire and Fangs will do. I honor your rattle ;-)

  7. Tanya Says:

    Glorious soft shining blazing beauty,
Your words are a reflection of the very BEST the world has to offer. There is much in this video that brings me back home again to me, and just the knowing that there is a whole ‘army’ of us sensitives out there makes me smile in delight…
Tomorrow as i work on my phd, i will “love it into creation” and see what kind of dance develops from there. Thank-you…
    Love, respect, gratitude, Tanya

  8. Marianne Says:

Yes! All of this rings true. Perhaps most of all the holding space for audacious hope, and being willing to hold that space alone for a while. Thank you.

  9. missmolly72 Says:

Erika, once again you post something so amazing and inspiring to me. I love what you said about loving into existence/creation whatever it is we are trying to bring forth. I feel like my life’s work may be knocking on my door, but I am still trying to figure out exactly what that is. I have the *idea* of what I’m supposed to do, just not sure in what form is it trying to manifest. I’m going to be spending some alone time, meditating, and will try to listen.

  10. Ije Says:

powerful video! i loved how you named it: evolutionary leadership. i LOVE that! exactly what i needed to hear as i’m breaking out and making myself visible through my business. the steps you laid out are powerful. i do feel that connecting with you is part of the help you were urging us to receive in this post. you’re definitely a soul sister. i’m looking forward to your next video. sending love,

    • Erika Harris Says:

Ije, your visibility is irresistible. Please, keep showing yourself. We’re all better because of it.

      Returned Love,

P.S. Next video comin’ up a lil’ later tonight ;-)
