Actually, I've tried asking directly, and it didn't even answer me back :( I've written curricula and assessment questions long enough to know that if I have to force myself to write and it doesn't flow, I need to get out. Much as I hated to, I've had to withdraw from the project. Thanks for your thoughts and encouragement, but this project just wasn't happening. Maybe another writing project will come up and knock my socks off with the epiphanies; in the meantime, I'll be teaching two sections of college chemistry in the spring.

Lisa, instead of "ask about"... what happens when you "ask directly"... like this:

Lisa: So, Science Curriculum, what insight do You have for me? What piece of new, fresh information can You share with me that I haven't yet seen? How do You want to be taught to students? Do you have any inspiration for parents and/or administrators?

Science Curriculum: Well, I'm so glad you asked! Educators rarely check in with me, but now that you have, I'm going to blow your mind with dazzling epiphanies. I think you'll want to take notes...

Lemme know how it goes!
